The Pakistan resolution 1940

1937 to 1940 was the eye-opener for Muslims in India the way congress treated Muslims convinced them to struggle for a separated homeland Muslims understood that if the British were leaving there must be either a Hindu or Muslim rule with this background all Indian Muslim league held its session in Lahore on 23 March 1940 in which the famous Lahore resolution was adopted Jinnah in this famous address on the occasion give clear expression to the basic concept undelaying the resolution.

2nd world war and the termination of congress ministries 

When the 2nd world war breakout on 1st September 1939, the congress provincial ministries resigned in October 1939, after passing an identical resolution in the assembly of these provinces deploring the war without the consent of the Indian people and calling for immediate treatment of India as an independent nation entitled to frame her constitution

Cripps mission 1942

In March 1942, it appeared to many people in India that the Japanese could overrun India with the same ease with which they had conquered southeast Asia so in this circumstance that the British govt sent a prominent member of the war cabinet sir Stafford Cripps to India with a draft declaration for discussion with Indian leaders and departed a fortnight later without achievement of anything 

Quit India movement

On the failure of Cripps mission, Gandhi began to press for an immediate withdrawal of the British from India and transfer of power to the congress without a prior settlement without any other party these ideas were formally adopted by the All India congress committee meeting held in Bombay on 8 august 1942 than the Muslim felt that the purpose of the congress agitation was to bring about the establishment of Hindu raj and to deal a death below to the Muslim goal of Pakistan

Election to provincial and central legislation,1945, 1946

The 2nd world war came to an end with the surrender of japan on 15 august 1945 the issue of Pakistan was put to test in the general election for the provincial and central legislature in the winter of 1945-1946 and the future constitutional future of India depend upon these election result showed a decisive victory for the idea of Pakistan Muslim won Muslim majority seats in these areas and congress in Hindu majority area.

Cabinet mission plan, 1946

In February 1946 British Government announced its decision to send a special mission to India consisting of three cabinet ministers to seek in association with viceroy lord Wavell and constitution with India leader the cabinet mission consisting of lord patchwork Lawrence secretary of state for India,staffors cripps, president of the board of trade, Av. Alexander the cabinet mission conducted individual negotiation with the top leader may 1946 on 16 may 1946 cabinet mission and viceroy published a statement containing their own solution to the constitution problem.

The independence Act 1947 

The independence act 1947 was enacted to give effect to the Mountbatten plan3 June 1947 act provided for the partition of India and the establishment of two independent dominions to known Pakistan and India effect from 15 august 1947.

The princely state of India 

There 562 states thought out British India the princely state were given fee choice it is there own right to decide either to join Pakistan or India or stay independent some join Pakistan and other India but three princely states don’t take right decision on right time and which become the causes of conflict between Pakistan and India.
